Spending all day sitting at your desk and staring at charts may seem like the life at times (especially if you’re in profit for the month, of course) but in truth, a trader’s sedentary working life is not good news for your health.
Whether you’re a regular visitor to your local gym, or if the only ‘gym’ in your life is Jim the barman, or if (like most of us) you’re somewhere in between, we will be providing regular trader workouts to suit traders of all shapes, sizes and lifestyles.
Challenge: No Kit Necessary #1
The Challenge
Complete the following exercises as a single block, and repeat as many times as possible:
- 10 Squat Jumps
- Build explosive strength and improve leg endurance.
- Keep your back straight and land softly.
- 8 Press Ups (Push-Ups)
- Strengthen your chest, arms, and core.
- Maintain a straight body line, and lower yourself until your elbows are at a 90-degree angle.
- 6 Tuck Jumps
- Boost your cardio and leg power.
- Jump high and bring your knees to your chest.
- 4 Plank Tucks
- Work your core and improve stability.
- Start in a plank position and jump both knees toward your chest.
- 2 Full Burpees
- Combine strength and cardio in one move.
- Perform a squat, jump, and push-up for a full-body burn.

Tips for Success
- Warm-up: Do 5-10 minutes of light cardio and stretching to prepare your body.
- Pace Yourself: Start slow and focus on form over speed.
- Track Your Rounds: Challenge yourself to improve each time you do this workout.
- Cool Down: End with light stretching to help your muscles recover.
