Plenty of news due in 2014 from AIM oil and gas companies

north sea oil rigAfter the beating that many AIM oil and gas companies got in 2013, there’s plenty of news flow to look forward to from several companies notably Bowleven, Xcite and Gulf Keystone. Lets hope its good news!

Bowleven

  • Approval of the Expanded Exploitation Application (EEAA) by Cameroon authorities (January)
  • FID (Final Investment Decision) for Etinde field – upstream project sanction integrated with the Ferrostaal fertiliser plant and joint FID by mid-2014.
  • Bonomo farm out – Zingana-1 location site prepared and ready to drill.

 Gulk Keystone Petroleum

  •  Second Shaikan production facility (PF-2), capable of producing 20,000 bopd production operations commencement
  • Results from Shaikan-10, spudded in July 2013
  • Results of Shaikan-7, the first deep exploration well, targeting previously undrilled mid to lower Triassic and Permian horizons, spudded in June 2013
  • Access to Turkey-Kuridstan oil pipeline
  • Ber Bahr Block appraisal wells Bijell-7 and Bijell-2
  • Confirmation of main market listing date

Xcite Energy

  • DECC (Department of Energy and Climate Change) Bentley field Enviormental Statement Approval and FDP (Field Development Plan). FDP subject to farm in and RBL.
  • Announcement of Farm in partner for Bentley
  • Increase in Reserves Based Lending facility from $155 million

Faroe Petroleum

  • Norway – Solberg appraisal well (Faroe 20%) scheduled for Q1 2014
  • Pil prospect (Faroe 25%)

Ithaca Energy 

  • Stella A2 well result

Borders and Southern, Falkland Oil and Gas, Rockhopper Exploration, Argos Resources

  • Confirmation of rig availability and start date for next Falklands drilling campaign – is it Q4 2014 or Q1 2015?
  • Rockhopper final investment decision with Premier oil for Sea Lion discovery
  • Argos Resources farm in partner
